Effective September 15, 2026.
This is what Sundry Works collects, why, and where it goes.
The waitlist
If you leave your email on this page, that is what it is for: one message from [email protected] when there is something to try, and nothing before then. Your name and what you paint are optional, and only used to make that one message worth sending. Nobody else sees any of it, and it is never sold or shared.
Your catalogue
For most painters, the photographs, stories and records you put into Sundry Works live in your own Dropbox, in a folder the app can see and nothing else can. That data goes straight from your device to your Dropbox and never touches a Sundry Works server at all.
A few painters without Dropbox use a hosted copy instead. For them, the same catalogue lives on our server, in a folder held just for that account, read and written only by that account's own copy of the app.
If you use the scheduler
The scheduler posts to Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky on a timer on your behalf. Using it means giving Sundry Works your sign-in for those platforms, which is stored encrypted and unlocked only by your own access token. The same is true of an AI provider key, if you keep one there rather than on your own desktop. None of it is shared, sold, or used for anything except running your scheduled posts.
AI processing
Stories and captions can be drafted by Google's Gemini or Anthropic's Claude, whichever you choose, using your own account with them, never ours. That means the painting's photograph and your description are sent to whichever one you picked. Anthropic does not train on anything sent to Claude, on any plan. Google's free tier may use what you send to improve its products and may have it reviewed by a person; its paid tier does not. You can also skip AI entirely and write every caption yourself.
No cookies, no tracking
